NYCE Corporation Signs Agreement with Harris Bank
Leading Midwest Bank to Maximize Value from NYCE Network ATM and PIN Debit Access to Consumer Deposit Accounts

MONTVALE, NEW JERSEY, June 7, 2004 — NYCE Corporation, one of the leading electronic payments companies in the United States, today announced that Harris Bank has signed an agreement to participate in the NYCE Network. Harris is one of the largest community bank networks in Illinois, with nearly 160 locations and more than 450 Harris ATMs.

NYCE Corporation owns and operates the NYCE Network, providing financial institutions, retailers and independent ATM deployers with shared Network services for ATMs transactions, point of sale service (POS), account-to-account money transfers (A2A), and direct debit bill payment for millions of consumers across the US and Canada.

“POS merchants across the country accept the NYCE card which supports Harris’ commitment to excellent customer service, including making sure that our customers know they have reliable and convenient access to their money when they’re away from their local Harris ATM,” said Julie Curran, Senior Vice President, Product Management, Harris Bank. “Today’s announcement also means added convenience to our customers who prefer to use personal identification number (PIN) debit as an easy and reliable payment option.”

Joe Makarewicz, Vice President, Debit Sales of NYCE said, “Harris Bank has a long legacy of superior customer service and product innovation – values that we share at NYCE – and is now adding that legacy to NYCE’s already strong presence in the Chicago area. The millions of NYCE cardholders who live in or visit the area will now see our familiar red and white NYCE logo on Harris’ over 450 branded Chicagoland ATMs. And in turn, Harris Bank cardholders will have access to NYCE’s nationwide network of nearly 150,000 ATMs and nearly one million POS retail merchant locations.”

Harris Bank’s participation will become effective in June 2004.
