    Harris Opens New Branch in Channahon

    Channahon, Ill., October 2, 2006 – Harris is pleased to announce the opening of a new full-service branch to serve the Channahon/Minooka communities.

    Located at 27121 West Eames, at the intersection of Ridge Road and Route 6 in Channahon, the branch will offer customers access to a full suite of personal, business and wealth services. The 4,600-square-foot features four drive-through banking lanes, plus two ATM-designated lanes.

    "This location puts Harris at the heart of this rapidly-developing area," said Harris Regional President, Roy Thygesen. "We're pleased to continue providing superior service to our customers, while at the same time continuing to expand our presence in the Chicago area."

    Harris has more than 200 full-service locations throughout Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, and more than 500 ATMs. The company has a stated goal of reaching up to 400 branches in the next few years.
