    Harris Names Terry Jenkins President of Harris Private Bank

    CHICAGO, October 18, 2006> –Harris is pleased to announce that Terry Jenkins is named President of Harris Private Bank, overseeing the delivery of wealth management services across the United States, effective immediately.

    Jenkins most recently served as head of BMO Harris Private Banking in Canada, a post he has held since 2002. Under his leadership, the Canadian private banking business unit of Harris parent BMO Financia l Group was named the best in Canada for three years straight by Euromoney magazine.

    Jenkins succeeds Graham Parsons, who had served as head of Harris Private Bank in addition to his role as Executive Vice President, Global Private Banking, for BMO Financial Group. Parsons will remain in charge of Global Private Banking for BMO and will be based in Toronto.

    "Terry has done a tremendous job building the BMO Harris Private Banking business in Canada into a true industry leader," Parsons said. "We expect he will continue to show his dynamic leadership skills in his new role with Harris Private Bank."

    Terry, who is based in Chicago, has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and holds a master's degree in international management from McGill University in Toronto as well as a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Toronto.
