    Harris Names Lilia Alvarado Director of Hispanic Banking

    CHICAGO, March 14, 2007 – Harris is pleased to announce that Lilia Alvarado is named Director of Hispanic Banking, responsible for overseeing community development outreach efforts within the Hispanic community.

    Alvarado joined Harris in 1979 and has held a variety of key roles in positioning Harris within the Hispanic market, most recently serving as Hispanic segment manager. Her commitment to serving and improving the Hispanic community is reflected in her current and past leadership roles in the community. She is a board member of the National Museum of Mexican Art and was appointed by Mayor Richard M. Daley to the Mexico City Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International Program in 1999. Lilia served six years as an elected official on the Jane Addams Elementary Local School Council.
