    Harris Opens New Branch in Chicago

    CHICAGO, November 28, 2007 – This week, Harris announced the opening of a new full-service branch to serve the Marquette Park and Englewood communities.

    Located at 6506 S. Western Avenue, the 3,059-square-foot branch offers customers convenient access to a 24-hour walk up ATM and the full-suite of Harris personal and business products and services, including the Harris Neighborhood Commitment SM Program.* This program helps families and individuals secure a mortgage, without the need to save for a down payment. This innovative program features benefits that help make homeownership a reality for families with limited income.

    "We are pleased to be expanding our service on Chicago's Southside in order to more conveniently serve the community and help our customers meet their banking needs," said Bob Verzak, Harris Regional President.

    Harris will celebrate the opening of this new branch with the following community events and specials:

    • From December 1, 2007 through March 1, 2008, members of the community can enter for a chance to win a 42" Flat Panel LCD TV, a pair of Chicago Bulls tickets, an autographed jersey or an authentic Bulls Hubert Doll.
    • A Grand Opening Holiday Celebration on Saturday, December 15, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All are encouraged to s top by for holiday food, fun and entertainment, including Ramonski Luv from V103. The first 50 individuals to arrive will receive a Moo & Oink gift certificate.***
