    Harris Announces Community Hero of the Game
    Linda Lopez of Orland Park Named Harris Community Hero of the Game

    CHICAGO, January 7, 2008 – Harris is pleased to congratulate Linda Lopez of Orland Park, Ill., who was recognized as a Harris Community Hero of the Game. Lopez was honored by Harris and the Bulls before the Chicago Bulls - Portland Trail Blazers game at the United Center on January 3.

    • Lopez was recognized by Harris for her commitment to making her community a better place to work and live. Lopez has been an active volunteer in her community for more than 20 years and her community involvements includes:
    • Serving as the Executive Director for the Lincoln-Way High School District 210 Foundation for Educational Excellence, where she helps more than 6,700 students prepare for future challenges.
    • Serving as a Director for the Tinley Park Kiwanis Club, where she has worked on numerous community projects.
    • Serving as a volunteer for Together We Cope, a not-for-profit organization that assists, advocates, empowers and encourages neighbors in need by providing food, shelter, clothing and referral information in times of crisis.

    As part of the bank's presenting sponsorship agreement with the team, Harris and the Bulls are joining to recognize a Community Hero of the Game before every Bulls home game this year. The pro gram recognizes individuals who generously give their time and talents to help our communities thrive. The designated hero receives two tickets to a game and is recognized by Bulls team captains at center court prior to tip-off.
