Harris Awards Check to Elmhurst YMCA

Chicago, October 29, 2008 –Harris N.A. is proud to present the Elmhurst YMCA with a check for $2,500 to support this organization’s youth programs.   

Elmhurst Mayor Tom Marcucci and David Frank, Bank Manager of the new Harris Elmhurst location at 115 W. Third Street, presented the check to Maureen McCarthy, Executive Director of the Elmhurst YMCA, on October 10 during the ribbon cutting ceremony for this new Harris branch.

In addition to providing funding for the Elmhurst YMCA, Harris volunteers ran a carnival day for summer day campers as part of Harris company-wide Volunteer Day, held in June.

Elmhurst YMCA is an organi zation whose mission is to provide opportunities to help people of all ages develop and grow in spirit, mind and body. The organization has been dedicated to serving the communities of Elmhurst, Bensenville, Berkley, Hillside, Bellwood, Addison, Melrose Park and Wooddale for over 50 years.
