    Harris Appoints Leslie Anderson, Business Market Manager, Central District, Harris Business Banking

    CHICAGO, Nov. 12, 2009 – Harris today announced the appointment of Leslie Anderson as Business Market Manager, Central District, Harris Business Banking.  Leslie will have responsibility for business development and the financial performance of the Small Busi ness Banking team in Harris’ Central District, which covers the entire City of Chicago. 

    “Leslie brings the ideal balance of new business development and relationship-building skills to her role,” said Darrel Hackett, Senior Vice President and Head of Small Business Banking.  “Her strong sales focus and considerable community profile will help ensure that her team continues to grow relationships and drive new customer acquisition.”

    Leslie, who lives in Hyde Park, has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. In her most recent role, she was a Team Leader and Vice President in the Middle Market Lending Group at Fifth Third Bank.

    This is a homecoming for Leslie, as she returns to Harris, where she spent seven years of her career and was a major contributor in both the Commercial Middle Market and Urban Emerging Markets Groups.

    Leslie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Hampton University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern.  She is very active in the community, serving as a Board Member of Leadership Greater Chicago and the Better Boys Foundation.
