Harris Names Anthony Lopez Regional President
Banking Veteran to Lead Harris' Operations in Southern Metro Chic ago

CHICAGO, June 3, 2010 –Harris today announced Anthony Lopez as its new Regional President of the South region of the Chicago Metro area. Lopez will be responsible for 14 branches and will be based out of Harris' Evergreen Park branch located at 9950 S. Kedzie.

A 15-year veteran of the financial services industry, Lopez joins Harris from Fifth Third Bank, where he was most recently responsible for managing and growing the profitability of 16 branches with nearly 150 employees throughout the western suburbs. As Regional President, Lopez's responsibilities include the management, development, and execution of retail banking strategies and services in Harris' South Region of metropolitan Chicago.

"With solid experience and proven expertise in leading teams of skilled individuals, as well as a strong connection to the community and a clear customer focus, Anthony is a great fit for Harris and an excellent addition to our talented group of Retail Banking leaders," said Mike Lewis, Harris' District Executive for metropolitan Chicago.

A native of Chicago, Lopez holds Series 6 and Series 63 licenses. His community involvement includes membership of Partnership in Action and La Casa Norte.
