M&I Shawnee Location Hosting Trunk or Treat

M&I Shawnee Location Hosting Trunk or Treat
Free Safe and Fun Family Event

SHAWNEE, Kan (Oct. 8, 2011) – M&I, a part of BMO Financial Group, will host their third annual Trunk-or-Treat on Friday, Oct. 28 from 4 – 6 p.m. in the M&I branch parking lot located at 7225 Renner Rd. in Shawnee, Kan. Treats and candy are being provided by more than 40 local businesses. Police and Fire will be on hand promoting safety lessons.

This free community event provides children a safe and fun trick-or-treating alternative. Children walk from car to car in M&I's parking lot gathering treats. Last year's festivities were attended by more than 300 kids dressed in their holiday costumes.

To help support those less fortunate, a canned food drive is being held in conjunction with the event benefitting Harvesters Community Food Bank. Harvesters serves as many as 66,000 metro Kansas City residents weekly.
