BMO Lights up the Indianapolis Skyline

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 3, 2012 – When newscasters show the skyline of Indianapolis during the Super Bowl, Sunday February 5, the world will see a new name on one of the buildings. Over the past few weeks, M&I Plaza has been transformed - thanks to new signage - into BMO Harris Bank Plaza, finishing the work just in time for the big game.

"We wanted to share our new name with the thousands of people visiting Indianapolis during the Super Bowl festivities and the millions watching the coverage," said Tim Massey, regional president, M&I, a part of BMO Financial Group.

BMO Financial Group acquired M&I last July. M&I Bank merged with Harris Bank which is also owned by BMO Financial Group and has a presence throughout Indiana. "With the combination of the Harris and M&I branches we now have 49 branches in central Indiana, including 32 M&I and 17 Harris branches, and are the 4th largest bank in Indiana by deposits," said Massey. "Our commitment to the Indianapolis community has never been stronger as we work to become the bank that defines great customer service."

As continued evidence of BMO's commitment to the community, BMO announced a commitment to add an addition $5 billion dollars to small business and mid-sized lending throughout the U.S. over the next two years.
