    M&I Relocates Florida Headquarters to One Sarasota Tower

    SARASOTA, FL (March 12, 2012) – M&I, a part of BMO Financial Group announces that it has relocated its Florida regional headquarters to the landmark One Sarasota Tower in downtown Sarasota.

    M& I Florida Regional President Dave Maraman said, "Being located in 'the Tower' puts us closer to the business epicenter of Sarasota. The general commitment to the Sarasota market and our desire to be affiliated and associated with the quality of community exhibited by Sarasota makes this move a win-win."

    Previously, M&I had administrative offices scattered throughout Sarasota, Tampa and Orlando. The move allows consolidation into one facility, improving internal communications and efficiency. The relocation and consolidation to the Sarasota area was considered for multiple reasons, including its excellent geographic position within M&I's Florida footprint, which reaches from the Orlando area, west to Tampa and down the West Coast all the way to Marco Island.

    Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce President, Steve Queior commented about M&I's move saying, ""We believe that greater Sarasota is a top area for business growth, one where quality companies can serve both local and regional markets. The decision of BMO Financial Group to relocate its Florida headquarters here is a vote of confidence in this community, and we are proud that a firm of this high caliber is expanding its presence here."
