Making Changes "Right Before Our Eyes" - BMO Harris Bank Announces Donation to Walter E. Olson Memorial Library Fou ndation

EAGLE RIVER, WI (May 4, 2012) - BMO Harris Bank announced today the donation of $13,500 to the Walter E. Olson Memorial Library Foundation's "Right Before Our Eyes" Capital Campaign to raise money towards their new 20,200 sq. feet library facility.

Built in 1980, the Olson Memorial Library is in the process of constructing and furnishing a new library building to better serve the community.

BMO Harris Bank will be assisting in the improvements taking place as the Olson Memorial Library strives to provide enhanced technology, innovative programming for all ages, and enable more programs for arts, humanities and self improvement. The new building will also provide additional meeting space for the community, as well as function as a "green," environmentally friendly facility.

"The Olson Memorial Library is at the heart of our community's educational resources, and our donation will help strengthen these efforts and enrich the knowledge of children and adults alike," said Jim Levandoski, Community President, BMO Harris Bank. "We know this is only the beginning of many great improvements taking place at the library and BMO Harris Bank is excited to be an active participant in helping make this happen."

BMO Harris Bank will also focus on helping to strengthen the library's mission to provide more self improvement programming by implementing its Helpful Steps® for Parents financial education program into the library's summer events for children. Orchestrated by local bank staff, the bank will share its series of age appropriate lessons on how parents can help make money make sense for their children.
