    BMO Harris Bank Donates $100,000 To Woodlands Academy

    Chicago, May 9, 2012—BMO Harris Bank today announced a donation of $100,000 to Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart to support Woodlands' educational mission and their expansion plans created by the Barat property acquisition.

    "We have a long tradition of investing in our communities and Woodlands Academy is an important cornerstone in Lake Forest," said Chris McComish, Executive Vice President, Retail Banking, BMO Harris Bank. "Through expansion, students will have even greater opportunities to enrich their lives."

    The donation will be used to fund costs associated with the conversion of the form er Barat campus to Woodlands Academy use. With the addition of the 23 plus acres there are numerous opportunities for the expansion of educational programs and facilities.

    McComish added, "We are very thankful that, due to the actions of extremely generous donors, the site will continue to serve the educational needs of the community and largely retain its open space character."

    The Board of Woodlands Academy has formed task forces and committees to explore options and listen to suggestions from members of the school's extended family and from the community at large.
