    M&I Hires Veteran to Lead KC Commercial Real Estate Team

    LEAWOOD, KS (May 21, 2012) - Ty Garver has been hired by M&I, a part of BMO Financial Group, as Director, Commercial Real Estate for Kansas City. In his role, Garver oversees sales and relationship activities for the commercial real estate group.

    Garver has over 20 years of experience in commercial banking, with more than ten years dedicated to the real estate market in the Kansas City area. He most recently served as Director of Commercial Banking at First National Bank of Kansas and has experience in Kansas City's local real estate markets through other institutions, including U.S. Bank.

    "Ty's deep roots in this community and numerous business connections will enable him to be a key contributor in helping us grow market share," said Dan Nichols, Managing Director – Heartland Region, M&I. "His hiring is another example of BMO's commitment to the Kansas City region and in expanding our commercial real estate portfolio."

    Garver is a member numerous organizations, including Basehor City Council, CCIM, Sharing Buddies and Basehor Booster Club.

    Garver earned his Bachelor's Degree from Wichita State University in Finance and Economics.
