    Bank recognized for its financial support, volunteer efforts in Chicago's western suburbs

    CHICAGO, May 24, 2012 – BMO Harris Bank announced today it has received the 2012 Corporate Philanthropic Award from the West Suburban Philanthropic Network (WSPN) for its commitment to financial support, leadership and volunteerism in Illinois' western suburbs.

    Each year, the WSPN honors a number of businesses, organizations and individuals in the western suburbs who help sustain and enhance a rich philanthropic environment. The 25-year-old, volunteer-led organization offers support to development professionals while advancing philanthropy in the community.

    "Whether it's financial literacy programs, fundraisers or our annual Employee Volunteer Day, our community involvement has remained consistent with our business approach to support the cities and towns we serve," said Julie Curran, Regional President, BMO Harris Bank.     BMO Harris Bank was nominated for the Corporate Philanthropic Award by April Arnold, Director of Corporate Relations Development and Alumni Relations at Elmhurst College.
