BMO HARRIS BANK SHAWNEE OFFICE HOSTING TRUNK OR TREAT
Free Safe and Fun Family Event

SHAWNEE, Kan (October 17, 2012) – BMO Harris Bank will host their fourth annual Trunk-or-Treat on Friday, Oct. 26 from 4 – 6 p.m. in the BMO Harris branch parking lot located at 7225 Renner Rd. in Shawnee, Kan. Treats and candy are being provided by more than 40 local businesses. Police and Fire will be on hand promoti ng safety lessons.

This free community event provides children a safe and fun trick-or-treating alternative. Children walk from car to car in BMO Harris' parking lot gathering treats. Last year's festivities were attended by more than 400 kids dressed in their holiday costumes, an increase of 25 percent from the year prior.

The BMO Harris mascot, Hubert the Lion, will make his inaugural appearance at the event. He will be available to sign autographs and pose for photos.

To help support those less fortunate, a canned food drive is being held in conjunction with the event benefitting Harvesters Community Food Bank. Harvesters serves as many as 66,000 metro Kansas City residents weekly.
